BREAKING: Reports of airstrikes near Damascus airport

Israel Defense Force launched a fierce attack on Syria.
So Israel targeted Damascus International Airport and Aleppo Airport in Western Syria causing extensive damage.

This is a blatant attempt to provoke Syria into an escalation between the two countries. It is also a sign of weakness by Israel given if they were containing the Hamas threat why seek to drag Syria into the conflict? Purely because it would be used as a reason to seek to force the US to intervene on behalf of Tel Aviv. 

However let's correct one statement made about this. Iran's foreign minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, was due to visit Syria tomorrow, not due to arrive minutes after the Israeli attack.
