Does Israel have a laser defense system?  

Israel-made, laser system, also known as Iron Beam. has been designed for a range of air defense systems, including the Iron Dome, a more expensive rocket deterrent. Israel's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has said, It may sound like science fiction, but it is real.

Australia, India, France, Germany and Japan are developing hypersonic weapons technology. Iran, Israel, and South Korea have just reported what they describe as baseline research on hypersonic weapons.

Is the laser capable of shooting down a hypersonic missile? 

 That's right, Raytheon is building an energy laser with the power to vaporize drones and defeat hypersonic missiles before they deposit their payloads.  

The free flight test of the Hypersonic Air-breathing Weapon Concept (HAWC) occurred last week, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, said in a statement.(via REUTERS)

According to a US government source, Russia, China, Britain, France and Israel are known to have or reportedly have strategic laser weapons programs.  

Germany is also mentioned in military literature.

What is Israel's new weapon?  

In April 2021, the head of Israel's Missile Defense Organization stated that a ground-based laser had been incorporated into the Iron Dome.

Why does China have laser weapons?  

China has a reputation for developing weapons since the 1990s. 

 Which started with the ZM-87. Which was first unveiled in 1995. It is designed to inflict permanent eye damage against enemy personnel within 2 to 4 km, and to cause temporary blindness up to 9 km.

Can the laser intercept the missile.

  The laser system that is there is capable of intercepting drones, mortars, rockets, anti-tank missiles, the Israeli ministry has said.

 What is America's most powerful weapon?  

The B83 nuclear bomb is the largest device in the US stockpile. Its maximum delivery is 1.2 megatons i.e. 1.2 million tonnes of TNT. It is 80 times more powerful than the bombs dropped on Japan at the end of World War II.
