G20 meeting in Indonesia begins
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is the one who discussed specific outstanding issues in bilateral relations on issues related to border situation in the meeting of 20 foreign ministers.
The Central Government has said that External Affairs Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar met Wang Yu before his Chinese on Thursday and called for early resolution of the issues raised along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh.
There have also been talks about other matters including students and flights. S Jaishankar has said that the discussion with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yu lasted for about an hour in the beginning of my day in Bali.
Italy presides over the G20 in 2021, while Indonesia assumes the role in 2022 and India will take over in 2023. Italy, Indonesia and India are currently 'troika' countries.
