IDF announces “Operation Dawn” combating Islamic Jihad in Gaza
Israel carried out air strikes in the Gaza Strip on Friday. In which Taysir al-Jabari, senior commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Group (PIJ), was killed.

10 more people were killed in
these attacks, while 40 were injured. According to the Israeli military, the Islamic Jihad group was threatening to attack in response to the arrest of West Bank leader Baha Abu al-Ata. Jabari, who was killed in the attack, became the commander after al-Ata.

After the attack, the Israeli Defense Force said in a tweet that 70 rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel in just 2 hours. Of these, 9 rockets fell inside the Gaza Strip.
