Operation Breaking Dawn: Israel kills senior commander of Islamic Jihad in strikes across Gaza

Israel arrested Bassam al-Saadi, a senior Palestinian terrorist, from the West Bank on August 1. After 5 August 2022, Israel launched a series of air strikes on the Gaza Strip. The goal announced by Israel is a targeted campaign against the PIJ.

The Israeli military has launched Operation Breaking Down, which they believe can target Palestinian militants based in Gaza. Israel has killed Tayseer Jabari, a very prominent leader of Palestine. 15 Palestinians and a child were also killed in this airstrike. The very next day Israel arrested 20 people from the West Bank, 19 of whom were members of Islamic Jihad.

Palestinian medical sources have said that many people rushed to the hospital after the Israeli airstrike. Israeli fighter jets dropped a bomb on the house of a PIJ terrorist. Terrorists also continued to fire rockets at Israel, but so far no casualties have been reported for Israel.

As of Saturday morning, 6 August 2022, more than 160 projectiles were fired at Israel and drove to Israeli civilian shelters. Barjilai Medical Center treated 13 people. 


Once again there is a possibility of bloody conflict and war between Israel and Hamas. Israel has closed all schools and colleges within a radius of 80 km from the border. Security analysts believe major preparations are underway to inflict major damage on Hamas. Israel has deployed additional troops along the border with Gaza.



Talking about 15 years, 4 wars have been fought between Israel and Palestine in 15 years, apart from this there are minor skirmishes between Israel and Palestine. In 2021, there was a war between Israel and Hamas in which civilians of both countries suffered a lot. About 200 people were killed and more than 2,000 were injured in Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip. Apart from this, more than 200 Hamas militants were also killed.

Hamas has vowed to take revenge, with the possibility of war between the two appearing. Hamas spokesman Fawazi Barholm has threatened to pay a "heavy price" to Israel after Israel's strong attack. The Defense Minister Benny Gantz has said that he will not back down to protect the citizens of his country. He said Israel does not want conflict.


Fighting ensues between Hamas and Israel, mass destruction undeniable. There is a danger of tension building up across the Middle East. If there is a fight between the two, in the same way, another crisis will arise in front of the world facing the war between Russia and Ukraine.
