PLA sends in 100+ warplanes on day 1 of military drills near Taiwan.

On Thursday, the first day of exercises by Beijing in the vicinity of Taiwan, more than 100 People's Liberation Army warplanes were sent around Taiwan, according to Theater Command.
According to footage from state broadcaster CCTV, the aircraft included the People’s Liberation Army’s most advanced stealth fighter, the J-20, and the newly introduced aerial oil tanker, the Y-20U. In addition, more than 10 destroyers were sent in, blocking access to the areas and helping coordinate tests, CCTV reported.
DF missiles launched
Taiwan has confirmed that after Nancy Pelosi left Taiwan, China is taking a very aggressive attitude. It launched 11 Dongfeng series missiles to the east, north, and south in the afternoon. Taiwan's Defense Ministry has said that 11 Dongfeng series missiles have been fired from 1:56 to around 4:00 pm. This is the first time the missiles have flown over the island.

PCL-191 rockets landed in waters near Pingtan, an offshore island of Fujian province opposite Taiwan, on Thursday afternoon. The PCL-191 can carry eight 370mm rockets to hit targets up to 350km or two 750mm Fire Dragon 480 tactical ballistic missiles capable of flying up to 500km.
Japan condemns launches
The Japanese government has said that the missiles launched by China have fallen in their Economic Exclusive Zone.
Japan's Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi has said, this is an extremely serious issue that concerns our national security and the security of the country's citizens. The Japanese government has filed a diplomatic protest with the Chinese government.
Massive drill kicked off
On Thursday, the People's Liberation Army began air and naval exercises besieging Taiwan, which will last until noon on Sunday. As soon as Nancy Pelosi left Taiwan, China announced a war exercise, and sent its armed forces to Taiwan.
