SCO Summit 2022 to be held on Sept 15 and 16; all you need to know about upcoming geopolitical event.

The summit will see the participation of the leaders of the nation which includes in the Shanghai Corporation Organization, India, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Iran will be included as a No Way Country this year. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will visit Samarkand to attend the summit on 15th and 16th September. Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will participate in the summit. A total of 15 leaders have been invited to participate in the geopolitical movement. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Conference is held once every year.
What is SCO?
The SCO was established in Shanghai in 2001 by Russia, China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. It is an organization that mainly focuses on regional security issues and development. India became an observer in the SCO in 2005 and gained membership along with Pakistan in 2017.
Economic cooperation in the SCO is an important question that will be discussed in the SCO meetings. When we are meeting with Central Asian countries, we discuss connectivity that will promote trade, investment and other exchanges between India and Central Asian countries."
There is going to be a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The summit, which begins on September 15, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold bilateral talks with leaders of other countries. According to sources and media reports, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. This will thus be the first meeting between Prime Minister Modi of India and Russian President Vladimir Putin after the Russia-Ukraine war.
Among the world leaders already mentioned, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi are also expected to attend the summit. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Putin are likely to discuss the pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the India-Russia defense deal.
