The successful test of AD-1 from the island of former President of India and a great scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam off the coast of Odisha will boost India's immunity.
This will help a lot in India's security. DRDO on Wednesday successfully test-fired the first ballistic missile defense BMD interceptor AD-1 missile in Phase 2.
It can target any flying object from 1500 km to 3000 km. The test has increased the strength of India's immunity.
This test has been done from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island.
India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated the AD-1 missile test and where it is, it will strengthen India's defense system.
He has congratulated the DRDO team, he said that very few countries of the world have an advanced technology with AD-1, it is a unique interceptor, he has assured that India will progress further.
Dr. Sameer V Kamat, Chairman, DRDO has said that, this is an achievement for India, it will strengthen India.
What is the AD-1 missile?
It is a long range interceptor missile. It has been designed for low exo atmospheric and endo atmospheric.
It is a kind of indigenous advanced controlled system.
