LIVE Updates: Iran President, Foreign Minister Die In Helicopter Crash

The helicopter, carrying President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other officials, lost contact approximately 30 minutes into the flight.

The Qiz Qalasi (Maiden Tower) Dam, built on the Aras River along the Iran-Azerbaijan border, was brought online by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev hours before the helicopter crash and subsequent search operation.

President Ibrahim Raisi had gone to inaugurate the Hydro Dam which is located on the border of Iran and Azerbaijan. But a news that has shocked the world is coming out. The President of Iran and his Foreign Minister have died in a helicopter accident. The death of both has shocked not only the entire Middle East but the whole world. Immediately after the President's helicopter crashed, Iran's security forces came into action and they put all their efforts for the rescue. They deployed the 65th Special Force which is famous for jungle warfare. They also tried to know about the crash site with the help of Turkish drones. Immediately after this, news started coming in the world news that all the passengers of the President's helicopter have died. Some security experts have claimed that Israel's intelligence agency Mossad is behind this. Because Iran has supported Palestine in the war between Israel and Palestine. Iran provides full financial support and weapons to Hamas. Which Hamas uses to attack Israel. But till now it is not clear how the helicopter accident happened. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences regarding this accident.
