Taliban Delegation Meets Emir Of Qatar & Head Of Hamas Political Bureau In Tehran.
During their visit to Tehran, a Taliban delegation met Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas Political Bureau.

Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the Deputy Spokesperson for the Taliban's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared images of the meetings on the social media platform X on Thursday.

Details of the discussions have not been disclosed. Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban, and Amir Khan Muttaqi, the group's Foreign Minister, attended the funeral ceremonies on Wednesday. Both Baradar and Muttaqi paid their respects to Ebrahim Raisi and Hossein Amir-Abdollahian upon their arrival in Tehran on Wednesday. The meetings with the Emir of Qatar and Head of the Hamas Political Bureau took place on the sidelines of these funeral ceremonies.
