Never thought that Sheikh Hasina would drive CIA mad .

Global Eyes News reported that the restriction was put into place on August 2 and prevented users in Bangladesh from accessing any of the social networking sites named above. It's interesting to note that the decision was made soon after Turkey declared it would prohibit Instagram, in response to criticism from a lawmaker over the content being shared on the platform on the death of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas.

In the midst of the ongoing turmoil, The Daily Star reported that numerous mobile internet users in Bangladesh are experiencing outages with Facebook and Messenger.

This disruption is not unprecedented. On July 31, the Bangladeshi government had previously lifted restrictions on social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, but only after easing curfew restrictions to allow for a longer daytime break.
