Israelis told to leave Istanbul, stay away from Turkey, amid Iran terror threat

Israel's Foreign Minister Yair Lapid has urged Israeli citizens traveling to Turkey to leave Turkey as soon as possible.

According to the news agency Reuters, Israel's foreign minister has said that this request has been made because of the "threat" of any possible attack from Iran.

The news agency Reuters, quoting an Israeli security official, has reported that Turkey has arrested several members of the Revolutionary Corps on suspicion of involvement in the action, but the security official did not give more details.

The Foreign Minister of Israel has specially thanked the Turkish government for its support.

According to the news agency AFP, Yer Lapid has told its citizens that if you are currently in Istanbul, then return to Israel as soon as possible and if you are planning to go to Istanbul, then cancel it.

These remarks of the Foreign Minister of Israel came hours after Iranian media reports,
The foreign minister said in his remarks that Ali Kamani and Mohammad Abdus of the Revolutionary Guards Air Force were killed during a "mission" yesterday.

 Colonel Syed Khudai
Threatened to avenge the death of Colonel Khudai

It should be noted that about two weeks ago, Israel also warned its citizens not to travel to Turkey, citing Iran's threat to avenge the murder of Revolutionary Guards Colonel Sayyid Khudai.

Colonel Syed Khudai was shot dead by two motorcyclists on Sunday, June 12, when he was leaving his home on Mujahideen-e-Islam Street.

Earlier, three Israeli television channels and newspapers had reported that Colonel Sayyid Khudai was planning action against Israelis around the world.

Iran has accused Israel of killing Sayyid Khudai. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi has linked the killing of Colonel Hassan Sayyed Khudai to foreign elements, saying that "there is no doubt that his blood will be avenged."

Linking the killing of a Quds force member to foreign agents, Iran's president said that 'Alami Istikbar' undoubtedly had a hand in this crime.

In Iran's official literature, 'alami istikbar' is a term used by government officials to refer to their rivals or foreigners.

 Mysterious murders in Iran

Sayyid Khudai is the second most important figure in the Quds Force to be killed in recent years.

In the year 2020, Iran's most powerful military commander, General Qasim Soleimani, was killed by the US in a drone strike in Iraq. As the head of the Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani expanded the range of Iran's military operations to the Middle East. The death of General Qasim Soleimani further strained US-Iran relations.

In the year 2020 itself, Iran's nuclear scientist Mohsin Fakhrizade was assassinated in Tehran. The murder was blamed on Israel's intelligence agency Mossad. Mohsin Fakhrizade had played a very important role in Iran's nuclear program, but Iran has said that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

Iran accused Israel of killing nuclear scientist Mohsin Fakhrizade. According to Iran, Israel used a remote control weapon to kill them.
