Russia Luna 25 Mission: After 47 years, Russia sent its moon mission, will land on the moon before Chandrayaan-3!

Russia has successfully launched its Moon mission Luna-25. This mission has been launched about a month after India's Chandrayaan-3. But it will probably land on the lunar surface before Chandrayaan-3. Russia is landing a lander on the moon after about 47 years.

Russia sent its moon mission to the moon after about 47 years. The Luna-25 Lander mission was launched from Vostoni Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast around 4:40 am on August 11. Launching was done with Soyuz 2.1b (Soyuz 2.1b) rocket. It is also called Luna-Glob mission.

This rocket is about 46.3 meters long. Its diameter is 10.3 meters. Its weight is 313 tonnes. The four-stage rocket launched the Luna-25 lander into a circular orbit outside Earth. After which this spacecraft left on the highway of the moon. Will travel for 5 days on this highway only. After this, it will revolve around the moon for 7-10 days.

Luna-25 will land on the lunar surface on 21 or 22 August. Its lander will start landing after reaching 18 km above the lunar surface. After reducing the height of about 15 km, there will be a passive descent from a height of 3 km. That is, gradually the lander will land on the surface of the moon. From 700 meters height, the thrusters will be on rapidly to slow down its speed. At a height of 20 meters, the engine will run at a slow speed. So that it can land.
